The MiGreendeal project has now (sadly) come to a conclusion.
The MiGreenDeal Project began in 2022 with an aim to raise the climate change awareness of young migrants through transformative learning and to prepare young adult migrants and adult educators, community leaders and mediators to become true agents of change in environmental sustainability and fight against climate change by applying Transformative Learning methods to develop green skills.
To do so, seven European adult education providers, experts in working with adult educators working with young migrants throughout Europe, developed digital education and digital solutions applied to develop training and resources from six countries. Partners included Le Monde des Possibles (Belgium), La Bien Paga (Spain), META4 (Austria), DISRUPTIA (Spain), and IASIS (Greece).
To this end, the project has developed a wide range of resources, including:
- A Training Curriculum on social inclusion by environmental awareness among young migrants
- A Virtual CAMPUS, that includes
- An Online Instructional Guide on Digital Competencies for Virtual Learning;
- A set of structured Training Modules
- A set of Virtual Open Online Courses (VOOC)
- The Migrerndeal Roadmap Web App
- A set of guidelines (toolkit) providing functional and interactive techniques, tools, exercises and activities that adult educators, community leaders and mediators will use in their work with young migrants.
