MiGreenDeal Meeting in Tenerife

The aim of the MiGreenDeal project is to raise the climate change awareness of young migrants through transformative learning. Using the energy emanated by the European Green Deal and aligned with the other main sustainability support documents, such as the New European Bauhaus, MIGreenDEAL will implement innovative practices and digital solutions in Adult Education to prepare young adult migrants and adult educators, community leaders and mediators to become true agents of change in environmental sustainability and fight against climate change by applying Transformative Learning methods to develop green skills.

The partners of MiGreenDeal held their 4th international meeting on the 15th of Mach 2024 in Tenerife, Spain.

The purpose of meeting was to understand and agreeing the next steps on the relevant WPs (primarily WP3 & WP4), along with the relevant timelines and steps for same – as well as the piloting, exploitation and sustainability strategies.

Based on the evaluation feedback from the meeting, INQS – as the evaluation partner – can attest that the project meeting appears to have been extremely successful with all partners providing positive answers in relation to the meeting in a general sense, in relation to the organisation and running of the meeting and in relation to the division of tasks post-meeting.

We look forward to meeting our friends and colleagues in the next MiGreenDeal meeting, to take place in Istanbul, Turkey in July 2024.
