We Men Online Multiplier Event!

Digital teaching and learning – the use of digital tools to support the design, delivery and support of education – has seen exponential growth during the Covid-19 pandemic. The role of digital tools for learning, however, often services as a key support in reaching and facilitating many members of society who face a range of barriers to participation in traditional formal education. The role of innovative digital tools and approaches to support education for social good has long been a key area of interest for Innoquality Systems.

This online webinar will provide an overview of a number of ongoing EU Research Projects designed to foster and support teaching and learning for socially responsible causes through innovative digital approaches.

The We Men project is focused on improving teaching methods in Emotional Intelligence and Gender Equality Training for adult educators through digital solutions. Key to the We Men project is the use of the transformative approach, which is based on the idea that learners when receiving new information, also evaluate their past ideas and understanding. Through the process of critical reflection and discourse, they can adjust their worldview and start to question and examine their previous thoughts and ideas.

Open Educational Resources include the We Men ECVET Educational Program, an Online Open Learning Materials Platform and a Methodological Framework. The resources aim to equip adult educators with the tools and resources they need to provide transformative education using emotional intelligence competences to break down some men’s resistance to gender equality.
