The YAMH Project Update

The website for the YAMH project is online! Check it out here: The Project – YAMH

The YAMH project is aimed at supporting Teachers and Youth Workers to promote and protect Youth Mental Health at School. The resources we are creating along with our project partners will help train Teachers and Youth Workers in how to promote and protect Youth Mental Health through the WHO’s Life-Skills Approach.

The WHO define Life skills as abilities for adaptive and positive behaviour that enable individuals to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life, and which can be taught to pupils as abilities that can be acquired through learning and practice.

The teaching of life skills contributes to the primary prevention of health problems by empowering healthy behaviour, positive interpersonal relationships and mental well-being.

Check out the website for more information! Project outputs will be added when they are finalised. We look forward to updating you when the first project output is available online!
