ABCD4ME – Project Update – Partner meeting in Istanbul, January 10th and 11th 2023

The ABCD4ME project’s Istanbul meeting over January 10th and 11th, 2023, embraced a hybrid format, blending in-person and virtual elements. This efficient approach facilitated important discussions and presentations that served as a status quo analysis and to drive the project forward.

On the first day, the hosting partners from the Governmentship of Istanbul set the stage with an agenda overview, which was followed by the Management Development Program’s review of the project management framework and administrative guidelines. The morning sessions featured the unveiling of a new online digital database and the final version of the project’s curriculum, reflecting the collaborative efforts in educational innovation.

Afternoon discussions moved to the a preview on pedagogical handbook’s work plan which is going to be led by Innoquality Systems. Furthermore we discussed the updates on the project’s dissemination efforts, and a group brainstorming on the exploitation plan. The day concluded with a shared reflection on the progress made in the project in the course of the past year.

The second day focused on refining strategies and ensuring the project’s objectives were on track. It featured an internal evaluation, the proposal of a mid-term report work plan, and an open session for addressing any pending questions and concerns. The meeting concluded with a thoughtful wrap-up that celebrated the progress and set a clear path for the next phases of the project.

The two-day meeting was not just a milestone for the ABCD4ME project but also a testament to the power of collaborative problem-solving in an international educational initiative. We are very much looking forward to continue working on Apps Based Competence Development for Migrant Enterpreneurship.
