The Fungipreneirs project has now (sadly) come to a conclusion.
The project had intended to support the social inclusion of vulnerable groups in rural areas through environmental awareness about the importance of fungi for the ecosystems and the marketable value of mycological resources, promoting behaviour change, green skills development and responsible and sustainable social entrepreneurship.
The project began in 2022 with the aim of finding new and innovative answers to challenges faced by vulnerable groups in rural areas, creating new resources, skills and pathways for both the vulnerable people in rural areas in Europe, as well as the adult educators supporting them, through ICT-based teaching and assessment practices and promoting the transparency, validation and recognition of skills and competences acquired through OER.
To this end, the project has developed a wide range of resources, including:
- A Training Curriculum on social inclusion by environmental awareness and social entrepreneurship through mycology
- A Virtual CAMPUS, that includes
- An Online Instructional Guide on Digital Competencies for Virtual Learning;
- A set of structured Training Modules
- A set of Virtual Open Online Courses (VOOC)
- The FUNGIPRENEURS Training Path Web App
- A set of guidelines (toolkit) providing functional and interactive techniques, tools, exercises and activities that adult educators will use in their work with vulnerable groups in rural areas
