The objective of the FungiPreneurs project is to support the social inclusion of vulnerable groups in rural areas through environmental awareness about the importance of fungi for the ecosystems and the marketable value of mycological resources, promoting behaviour change, green skills development and responsible and sustainable social entrepreneurship.
The project features a fantastic consortium, with partners from ECM Ingenieria Ambiental (Spain), Disruptia (Spain), META4 (Austria), Mindshift – Talent Advisory (Portugal), and Centre For Social Innovation – CSI (Cyprus)
Within the project, content development is ongoing across all partners. As INQS is developing content for WP3 – around roadmapping for mycology and social entrepreneurship, we thought that we would share some of the developed content with you.
OKR framework
What can be useful in applying a roadmapping methodology for the development of easy-to-follow training itineraries is looking at existing roadmapping frameworks. The OKR (Objectives and Key Results) framework is a goal-setting and performance management methodology that has been widely adopted by organisations to improve focus, alignment, and execution.
Created by Andy Grove at Intel and later popularized by John Doerr, the OKR framework is used to set and track objectives and their corresponding key results. This approach consists of:
Objectives (O):
Objectives are high-level, qualitative goals that define what an organisation, team, or individual aims to achieve. Objectives should be clear, inspirational, and focused on outcomes.
Key Results (KR):
Key Results are specific, quantitative metrics that measure progress toward achieving the corresponding objective. They provide a concrete way to track success.
