The IDEAL Project (http://ideal-project.eu) will develop a hands-on approach with examples and tools for language teachers on how to establish digital competence in language teaching in their daily practice.

As part of the IDEAL project, technical expert partners University of Extremadura are developing an online learning platform designed to  a support the provision of training material and resources to language teachres, based on material developed by all project partners.

An initial version of this platform is now available at http://platform.ideal-project.eu/

This is obviously a very early iteration of the final output, but can be viewed to give an initial idea of how the final resource will function and indicates the “look and feel” of the learning platform which will be used by language teachers in order to upskill themselves, and which will be used by the project partners to help deliver training and house project resources
