The aim of the MiGreenDeal project is to raise the climate change awareness of young migrants through transformative learning. Using the energy emanated by the European Green Deal and aligned with the other main sustainability support documents, such as the New European Bauhaus, MIGreenDEAL will implement innovative practices and digital solutions in Adult Education to prepare young adult migrants and adult educators, community leaders and mediators to become true agents of change in environmental sustainability and fight against climate change by applying Transformative Learning methods to develop green skills.
The partners of MiGreenDeal most recently held a Learning and Training event on the 15th – 17th of July 2024 in Athens, Greece.
The purpose of meeting was to evaluate and agree the training content and developed technical platforms among the trainers who will be using them and delivering training to young adult migrants.
We look forward to meeting our friends and colleagues in the next MiGreenDeal meeting, to take place in Belgium in December.
