The MiGreenDEAL project – featuring partners from La Bien Paga (Spain), META4 (Austria), DISRUPTIA (Spain), and IASIS (Greece) – aspires to raise awareness of the climate crisis awareness among young migrants through transformative learning by implementing innovative practices and digital solutions in adult education in order to prepare migrants and adult educators, community leaders and mediators to become real agents of change in environmental sustainability and fight against climate change.
As work is ongoing on the project, INQS has recently been investigating similar European projects focused on the climate cries in order to better understand the area and the range of available resources and research in this space.
The FungiPreneurs project is designed to support the social inclusion of vulnerable groups in rural areas through environmental awareness about the importance of fungi for the ecosystems and the marketable value of mycological resources, promoting behaviour change, green skills development and responsible and sustainable social entrepreneurship. The project aims to develop a wide range of resources to help use sustainability as a mechanism for supporting vulnerable groups – much like the MiGreendeal project approach.
